Will my tenants be affected?
No. Your tenants stay in place under the same lease terms. The only change is who manages the property. We introduce ourselves professionally and ensure a smooth transition so your tenants feel looked after from day one.
Is there a cost to switch?
There is no cost to switch to Astnd Property. Your current agent may charge a small termination fee if specified in your agreement, but many do not. We will review your current contract and let you know before you commit.
What if I am locked into a contract?
Most property management agreements in Queensland can be terminated with 30 days written notice, regardless of the contract length. If your agent has breached their obligations, you may have grounds to terminate sooner. We can help you review your options.
What paperwork do I need?
You will need to sign a new Form 6 with us and provide written notice to your current agent. We prepare both documents for you. All you need to do is sign.
How long does the changeover take?
Typically 30 days from when you give notice. In some cases where the property is vacant or your current agreement has expired, the switch can happen much faster.
